Clark's April Barkbox!

**affiliate link**

Goodness gracious. I know it's almost June and I'm just now writing about Clark's April Barkbox. His May box is scheduled to be delivered today, so as you can guess, I'm just way behind! haha But this box is worth the wait, as it's been our favorite so far! Just so you know, all the links to Barkbox in this post are affiliate-type links. If you click on them, and sign-up, you get $5 off your first box and I get a free box :)

This box was chocked full of goodies that Clark (and we) LOVED. Best box so far. And you wanna know something? Clark hasn't destroyed ANY of the toys yet. I believe that's a first! We'll start out with those...

These glow in the dark balls are really neat, and they really work! Clark LOVES playing with them both inside and outside.

This SafeMade Pet Products toy gets tossed around the living room a lot :) We don't put treats inside it very often, but we have a few times. This is very durable and has stood up to Clark's gnawing pretty well :)

On to the Duck Jerky! This is from Etta Says!, and Clark says they are great! He adores these, and they have become his daily treat :) As he's gotten older, his tastes have really changed. When he was a puppy, he would ONLY take one specific treat...but now he likes pretty much anything!

This Etta Says! Crunchy Duck Chew was history within 10 minutes. Clark simply laid in the floor and crunched his way through it in record time. That's a safe bet he liked it - but it did give him a little tummy trouble. He was fine in no time, tho.

The Groom Mitt clothes are kinda neat! We have used them on Clark, and he wasn't entirely comfortable with them - he kept trying to eat it! hahah But they did work.

We haven't had a chance to try these vitamin packs yet, so I can't really say much about them. They are neat, tho!

This has been the best box we've received since we signed up. We've liked them all, but this one really set the bar high! If you want to try BarkBox, you can use my code here and get $5 off your first month! :) If you do so, I will also get a free month out of the deal.

Wishful Bath & Beauty's FEVERshadow in Play in the Waves swatches+review - PICTURE HEAVY

**PR sample provided by company representative**

Psst! Two giveaways going on right now that you need the check out! Here and Here! Both have about a week left!

Goooooood morning out there! (well, it's morning where I am, anyway...). How about some FEVERshadow today? The loose pigments from Wishful Bath & Beauty have been a staple in my makeup routine for a few months now. They have amazing coverage and are nicely pigmented. They are long-lasting (I've worn them up to 10 hours!) and great colors :) Today I have for you a pigment called Play in the Waves - shimmery iridescent green with a blue flash.

It's an extremely hard color to photograph - it just ends up looking brown. I tried and tried and tried to get a photo of the flash of blue, but it's just wasn't having it. This is as close as I could get:

Pictured above is one short swipe with a small brush.  These shadows are very pigmented, silky smooth and clay-based, which makes them long-lasting. They are toxin-free and natural...and the claim of long-lasting is most certainly true. These pigments wear on me for 10 hours. Well, I say 10 hours because that's the longest I've worn them. That's when it was time to take off my makeup and go to bed :)

The cut here, is entirely necessary as I have 5 eye looks to show you. Enter at your own risk! All eye looks use the Jesse's Girl eye primer, which I received in a goodie bag at Cosmoprof from Jesse's Girl.

Iron Man nails! ...and my lack of the urge to blog.

**PR sample provided by company representative**

Lately I haven't felt like blogging much at all. I need to snap out of it, tho, because I have such fun things to show you guys! For right now, you can feast your eyes on my boring Iron Man nails!

No intricate designs, no drawings of Tony Stark - just classic red and gold, courtesy of Zoya Isla and Zoya Solange. I purchased Isla myself, and Solange is a press sample. Here's hoping I can get my blogging mojo back...I do have some neat stuff to share :)

Throwing around an idea for a giveaway to raise awareness for the End It Movement...

Ever since I attended the Vampire Diaries convention in Chicago, the End It Movement has been weighing heavily on my heart. Nathaniel Buzolic is very involved in the program, as is Steven R. McQueen. Nathaniel actually talked a lot about the movement during his panel.

See his shirt? That's an End It Movement shirt. I thought I might get a shirt or two to throw in the giveaway, but the movement is sold out! I might be able to find a way to get some anyway :) But here's the letter I sent out, asking for help with this giveaway...

Hi!

My name is Destany, and I am the mind behind Confessions of a Sarcastic Mom (http://www.manifestdestany.com). I am putting together a giveaway to benefit the End It movement (http://www.enditmovement.com/), which shines a light on modern day slavery and fights to end it. I first heard about this cause at a Vampire Diaries convention from actor Nathaniel Buzolic, and as I researched to cause, I realize it was something I was very passionate about. The universal sign of the End It movement is a red X on the back of your hand. I placed one on my hand during the convention. Just that simple act brought to mind how I could possibly help even more. So I am holding a giveaway - which would spread the word about the End It movement and raise awareness for the cause.

I plan to have only three points of entry for this giveaway.
1. Provide an e-mail address - legally, there has to be one entry that doesn't benefit anyone - a company or an individual, a blog or a group.
2. Provide a photo of your hand adorned with a red X on the back - this gets the word OUT! Plus, I will feature each and every red X-adorned hand on my blog in a permanent place!
3. Donate to the End It movement  One of the End It movement's partner organizations - for each $1 donated, the person will receive one entry. (The End It movement is no longer accepting donations, but donations can be made to partner entities).

How does this involve you? I'm looking for donations for the giveaway - red and black themed, custom polishes and cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, craft items - to use for the giveaway. This is where you come in. Would you be willing to participate in raising awareness for the End It movement with me? I can't promise a guaranteed like or follow for you. But I can guarantee there will be links to you throughout the giveaway, and on the page featuring the red X hand photos permanently. I plan to keep these photos on a page, linked in the top bar of my blog. I don't ever want to quit shining the light on this issue, and will keep a donation button, as well as the photos and link active for as long as I'm blogging. I plan to purchase a fair amount of black and red items for this venture, but I hope you would consider helping me out. I believe this is a worthwhile cause that deserves awareness, don't you?

With hope,
Destany
