Wet n Wild Wind Shine Too Hot For You swatches and review

Oooh what do we have here? A new Wet n Wild Wild Shine polish? Oh yeah, there's a new LE display, Street Art, floating around! This polish, Too Hot For You, is my favorite of the bunch :) I couldn't resist snagging a bottle when I found the display at Walgreens. I've since found displays at CVS and KMart.

It just looks like it's on fire! The shimmer really jumps out at ya. Two coats is what is pictured. It's a bright red-orange with pinkish shimmer. The formula is good, especially for a $1 polish! No streakiness or application issues. I just LOVE looking at it!

Chevron nail art - with a holo topper!

**press sample**
I've got another simple nail art today - this one featuring Essence, Jordana, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and VyNails - and topped with Literary Lacquers! How does it break down?

I started with a base of Essence Romeo, this is one of the original Nail Art Twins. It's a great grey base, I got it from a friend :) I slapped on some chevron guides from VyNails, my favorite vinyl nail guides! I was sent these for review, and I use them a lot! Sometimes I put them down and paint over them, and sometimes I stick 'em right on the nail :) I used Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pond (the darker blue) and Jordana Boy oh Boy (the teal) and painted on opposite ends of the chevron, gently removed the chevron guides, and this came out:

I wore this for two days before deciding to punch it up with Literary Lacquers I'm Drinking Stars. I received that polish for review. And I love it. I top a lot of manis with it because it just adds a little something extra! :)

An out of this world combo with Avon and Salon Perfect!

**press sample**
Readers of this blog know that orange is my most favorite polish color - but did you know I love pairing it with teal and black? I needta find me a teal and black glitter to top all my oranges with! Today's mani is orange and black - and has a 'cosmic' twist! It featured an Avon Cosmic polish, which I purchased myself, and a Salon Perfect glitter topper, which was sent to me for review.

Let's start with the finished product :) This is one coat of Salon Perfect Cosmic Black over Avon Saturn. Cosmic Black is silver and black glitter pieces in a clear base. It's pretty evenly distributed, and went on smoothly in one coat with minimal dab and place technology (ha!)

But the real star of the show is Avon Saturn - a deep orange holo! I'll just shut up and let the pictures do the talking...

Isn't it gorgeous!?!??! I'm not sure it's available right now :( I'd love to snag myself another bottle if it ever comes back!
