Serena Williams’ Glam Slam! Series

OPI joins tennis superstar Serena Williams in announcing the latest three lacquers in the Glam Slam! collection.  To celebrate the world’s oldest, most prestigious tennis tournament, Glam Slam! England features two duo-packs filled with sparkle.

“England’s premier tennis tournament warrants colors with extra glitz and glamour,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “The next big trend in nails is making lacquer look 3-dimensional by adding different micas and glitters, turning fingertips into jewelry. With two bold metallics and a sparkling glitter, these colors are fit for royalty.”
“For stand-out nails, I love experimenting with different glitter shades,” explains Serena Williams. “The new Glam Slam! England lacquers can be worn alone for a bright pop of color, or layered with Servin’ Up Sparkle to create a textured effect.”

The one with WnW Hannah Pinktana/Silvivor and WnW Ocean Grotto/Sea of Wonder

I've been kind of worn out lately. I haven't been painting my nails as often, so here's a few recent manicures...

Wet n Wild Hannah Pinktana with an accent finger of Silvivor. You can click on the photo to make it bigger to see the holo-ness of Hannah Pinktana. I used four coats. It never got gloopy! As my friend Kari said, I only assumed Hannah would be good for layering. But she sure looks good all on her own :)

My son picked these colors - Wet n Wild Mermaid's Cove Ocean Grotto and sea of Wonder. He wanted me to do a pattern, as he calls it and alternate them :) Let me tell you, Ocean Grotto is a pain and a half to get off. The glitter is so flippin fine that it is also a shimmer ... even my Remove+ had trouble!

**DISCLAIMER**  I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself.  I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)

The one with Zoya's Touch collection! Picture Heavy

I have for everyone today the newest Zoya collection, Touch - featuring three neutral shades that are sure to be hits this summer!
Zoya Nail Polish presents 3 new, full coverage neutral nail polish shades designed to coordinate with a variety of skin tones ranging from light to dark. Each softly kissed with a bit of metallic to make them ultra wearable.
Zoya TOUCH Collection
Minka (ZP561) - latte beige cream with a metallic kiss
Shay (ZP562) - desert rose sand beige cream with a metallic kiss
Pandora (ZP563) - mauve beige cream with a metallic kiss

Fair warning that this post is REALLY picture heavy!

Let's start with Minka, shall we? She my favorite of the bunch! Something about her makes me think of dulce de leche ice cream ... just that hint of brownish tan, smooth, creamy finish. Base coat of Nail Life Nail Revitalizer, two coats of Minka and a top coat of Poshe. The coverage for this neutral in one coat was amazing! I used two coats out of habit. Zoya's formula is always smooth, and I found this polish to be no exception.

Now on to Pandora! The little pinky jewel that she is :) Again, creamy, creamy finish to the neutral. The only thing about Pandora is she was a little on the thick side compared to the other two polishes. Not a lot thicker, but you know. Base coat of Nail Life Nail Revitalizer, two coats of Pandora and a top coat of Poshe.

And last, but not least - Shay!! I just can't say enough about Zoya's formula. It goes on well all the time. I don't think I've ever had a bad manicure with Zoya. Base coat of Nail Life Nail Revitalizer, two coats of Shay and a top coat of Poshe.

Bottom line: All three colors remind me of ice cream! The formula is good, the coverage is excellent - and even tho I am not a neutral nail polish type girl, I like them ... they are definitely good additions to my collection :)

The one with WnW Magic Trident

I LOVE ORANGE.

There I said it. This color is no exception. It's Magic Trident from Wet n Wild's limited edition Mermaid's Cove Fast Dry collection.
Base of China Glaze Strong Adhesion, two coats of Magic Trident and a top of ORLY Sec'nDry. This is an undoor shot with the flash, but it's pretty true to color. The formula on these WnW Fast Dry polishes is just amazingly good. Great coverage for two coats.

Here's some shots in natural light out in my front yard. We haven't had much sun lately, which sucks for pictures, but the color is still very pretty :)
