The one with Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy - Resolution Red Glitter!

Good morning all! I FINISHED NANOWRIMO LAST NIGHT! *phew* This year was very trying - computer issues, time constaints - but I made it! Now I won't touch it for a month, so I can distance myself...which is good news! I can spend more time loving my nails now because I don't have to worry about is clanking against the keys all day long for a month :)

This morning I have the final Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy polish - RESOLUTION Red Glitter! Altho, i see this as pink, but it might be me...
It kind of reminds me of what a crushed candy cane might look like! This is an awesome one-coat glitter! Much like SERENE Silver Glitter, this puppy is great in one coat! Until you bump your still wet nails on the bottle as you are putting it away, forcing a second coat hehehe Pictured is two coats.

Isn't it gorgeous? I just love it! What I love most about it? It doesn't need "underwear" - you can wear it all on its own for glittery goodness!

The one with Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy - Revive Ruby Red!

Oh no! I almost forgot to do a post today! hahah I am knee deep in the final stages of NaNoWriMo, and it completely slipped my mind last night! I wrote a whopping 4,234 words yesterday, and by about 5 p.m., my brain was absolute MUSH.

So on to the pretty polish! Today I have another of the Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy Collection - REVIVE Ruby Red! This polish was SO difficult to photograph for me!
A shimmer infused, Wizard of Oz-inspired shade of crimson
I only had to use one coat...and I'm thinking it had to do with my brush, which was like so skiiiiiiinnnnnny. It allowed me to have better control over what went on my nail. However, it took longer to apply this polish because of its teeny tiny brush.

See how the polish kind of looks like it's swimming on my nail in some of the photos? I couldn't make it stop! LOL The shimmer just made it almost impossible to take a photo in the sun. I guess the sun may have been too intense that day?

The one with Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy - Passion Purple!

Good day fellow polish lovers! Today I have a third in the line of Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy collection - PASSION Purple - a wonderful grape-y purple with shimmer!
a bombshell-boysenberry with subtle silver meshed throughout
This color flowed on like butter :) I used two coats for these photos, but if applied correctly, this could be a one-coater.

The one with Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy - Essential Emerald!

Gooooood morning! I have a gorgeous color for you today - Dr.'s Remedy ESSENTIAL Emerald from the Jolly and Joy collection :) It's a gorgeous shimmery green that was opaque in two coats :) Honestly, I'm sure I could have gotten away with just one coat on this one. The formula is just wonderful.
A take on the classic tree-and-plant-inspired gem of a shade, with delicate glimmer and unparalleled amounts of glamour
I had no application problems with this polish. It smoothed on like butter. Come to think of it, I haven't met a Dr.'s Remedy polish I haven't liked.  They are infused with ingredients such as tea tree oil and garlic bulb extract, which are naturally occurring anti-fungal, antibacterial, and healthier for the nail. Allergen friendly for those sensitive to chemicals in commercial nail polish. Which means they are baby safe, and can be worn by pregnant women.

The shimmer is very, very subtle in this polish, but it is there :) I have a soft spot for greens, so this polish will, undoubtedly join my shelf of staples :)

The one with Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy - Serene Silver Glitter!

Oh my goodness! I am in love with the Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy collection - the shimmers are peachy keen, and the glitters are dense wonders! AMAZING! Today, I have for you SERENE Silver Glitter.
A seasonal sizzler like no other; shine, chic, totally unique in the metallic scene
I had no problems with application. One coat - that's all it took! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE one-coaters, especially glitters? There's silver, red and, I believe blue glitter packed in this base. Not only was application flawless, removal was, too! Because of the dense nature of the glitter, it didn't act like a full-on glitter. Maybe it's just me, but I found removal very refreshing :)

Isn't it stunning? SO SPARKLY. And can I say again this is only one coat? My son was mesmerized by my nails....he kept wanting to stare at them! I can see myself wearing this awesome polish over and over again :)

The one with Franken Friday - Rebecca Likes Cupcakes!

Ooooh the day after Thanksgiving! I don't have to work today! I can't even remember the last time (when I had a job) that I have had the day after Thanksgiving off work. Sleeping in is something I am just now getting back as Lucas is getting older. I remember having to get up with him at 5 a.m. on weekends!

Anyway! I am so blessed to have met some wonderful nail polish friends on Facebook. One being Rebecca at Rebecca Likes Nails. She makes the most amazing franken - Rebecca Likes Cupcakes - and I am lucky enough to have a bottle!

We haven't had much sun lately :( That makes taking pictures hard! But tomorrow, I am going to start showing the new Dr's Remedy winter collection - and I'm super excited about them! What else do I have in store? Let's just say I've got some 3D Eye Candy coming your way as well!

The one with the Zoya Feel Collection - Megan!

Good day! It's Thanksgiving Day here in the States, so I know I'm having a good day with my family. How is your day going? :) Today I have the final polish in the Zoya Feel Collection, Megan! I think Megan leans toward a dusty purple, but Zoya's website describes her as "a full coverage, taupe gray cream. An ideal winter neutral nail polish color that covers fully in 2 coats."
Am I crazy in seeing the purple? I had some application problems with Megan. Much like Kristen, Megan was clumpy and thick. I'm sure it's nothing a little thinner couldn't fix. But, during my application, the polish got so goopy on one nail, I had to take it off and start all over.

Other than the thickness, I think Megan is a good polish. I really like the entire collection! Well done, Zoya!

The one with the Zoya Feel Collection - Avery!

Ahhh another Zoya Feel Collection polish today! Described as "a full coverage, blond-beige cream. An ideal cool neutral color that covers fully opaque in 2 coats," Avery is my least favorite color of this bunch. Application was flawless, however, so Avery gets a great review from me :)
I used two coats for my photos, but if I've said it once, I'll say it again, these polishes are so pigmented that they could, if applied the right way, be used in one coat. The bottle cracked me up, tho. There's a red spot in the polish - it looks like blood!

As Zoya describes, Avery is very blonde. A lot like Buffy in that respect...but Buffy is lighter and shimmery. Regardless, I can't stress enough how the formula on most of the Feel Collection is just phenomenal. Aside from Kristen and Megan (just a tad), which you will see tomorrow, I had no trouble with streakiness or clumpiness. Great stuff!

The one with the Zoya Feel Collection - Kristen!

Good morning all! It's another dreary, rainy day in southern Indiana, but today I have the bright, happy Kristen from Zoya's Feel Collection! Kristen is described on the Zoya website as "a gull gray nail polish with a mild bluish hue. An ideal cool neutral color that covers fully opaque in 2 coats." And I buy that description :) In my eyes, she leans way more blue than grey, tho.
I'm not gonna lie. I had application problems with Kristen. Plus, my brush was a bit wonky. Putting Kristen on my nails wasn't nearly as fun as putting the other polishes in the Feel Collection on my nails. She was goopy and stringy - and on the first coat, she was streaky. A second coat evened it out, but she kind of looks....thick on my nails.

Part of my application problems with Kristen, I blame on the wonky brush. The other part I say is thickness. My bottle of Kristen could have done with a tad bit of thinner. Have you tried Kristen? What did you think?
