Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered in US television 15 years ago today. Yes, 15 years ago, I was sitting in my father's house (because I lived with him then) watching. I used the VCR to tape the showing, and my sister and I watched it together the next day. We used to watch
Buffy together a lot.
I would go into boring details about what
Buffy meant (and still means) to me, but that would take a while. To celebrate this anniversary, I decided to wear
WnW Buffy the Violet Slayer, one of the polishes from the Fast Dry line. This is one of my favorite polishes. I own like 3-4 bottles. I wear it a lot. It's the most gorgeous shade of blurple and has fine shimmer running through it.

So I will be watching a lot of
Buffy today! What about you guys? Is there a TV show (or movie) that is beyond a doubt your favorite?
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)
Oh, Des... you know how I love polish with Violet in the name ;) I really like this color too! Is it hard to find? I need a bottle for Violet's stash :)
ReplyDeleteNope, Cas! It should be in every WnW display everywhere! :) All the Fast Dry polishes in the coreline have names like TV shows hahah
DeleteBeautiful shade. I love BTVS! I have every season!
ReplyDeleteYay for Buffy!! I can't believe it's 15 years already! sheesh!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that color and it looks great on you!
Aw, you're giving me Buffy nostalgia!
ReplyDeleteFor our first, like, 10 dates, my boyfriend and I ran through all 7 seasons on Netflix. I LOVE Buffy. Such a fun show.
ReplyDeleteSo so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFor me it was Xena Warrior Princess that captured my interest in the 90's, I have this polish though, and it's awesome! :D Love the way you managed to capture the color in your photographs, mine were always too blue looking! Nice job! :D
