The one with Fail Art Thursday - Milani dotting practice!
Ack! I'm way late with Fail Art Thursday! haha I've got some dotting practice with some of the gorgeous Milani polishes I have! Let's just get right to it, shall we?
Random dots! hehe I used a base of Milani Pink & Proper, and dotted with Violet Dash, White on the Spot, Black Swift and Sail Away. I need to work on getting the dots good intervals apart. I was just dotting away when I did this hehe
Multicolored dotted flowers :) I used Milani Jiffy Orange, Violet Dash, Yellow Whiz, Hot Pink Frenzy and Rapid Cherry. I think they turned out well :) This is one mani I'm going to keep practicing. I wish I could use just white and yellow, but then they always turn out like fried eggs...

I'm telling you, 5 "petals" would make it not look like eggs! And I think the flowers came out and don't look like eggs at all! :)
ReplyDeletei think with the white and yellow it's more of the colors suggesting eggs. i don't think these look like eggs cause they are so bright :)
DeleteI don't think either mani is a fail. I like the dot one and allot of other people do them in a random pattern rather than a uniform amount apart. I think Carly above is right about the flowers maybe another petal would stop them looking a little egg like, but they are still pretty little flowers x :-)

ReplyDeleteThey're definitely looking more like flowers, Des! I agree with the 5 petal thing, too. I pictured myself doodling flowers (I always doodle) and they always have 5 petals!
