...or "Why I could never be a vampire."
I decided I was going to be cute when I featured the Deborah Lippmann Forsaken lip and nail duo (which I ordered on HSN.com.)...and wear my son's fake, blinding white, plastic vampire teeth. Then I saw Vampy Varnish's post...great minds think alike! Hers look decidedly more real than mine...
But on to the lips! >.< I get nervous putting my lips on the blog. I think my lips look weird. Like there isn't much to my top lip. But then if I overtry, I get moderate duckface, which is horrible!
So anyway, here's Bite Me, a deep brownish reddish shade for the lips. I chose to not wear it very dark, but this can get as dark as you want it to be.
And then it was time for vampire teeth....kinda looks like I'm gonna bite someone!
I thought having both a top and bottom set of teeth looked silly, so I chopped the plastic set in half...
This looks so cool!!! But as you can see, my upper lip just kinda isn't there haha I'll havta work on my lip poses for long-term blog posts heheh But then...as the photographs were being taken, the fangs had an accident..
HOW EMBARRASSING! I could never be a vampire and wear lipstick. This would happen to me all the time! hahahahah Oh yeah...there is a polish to show you hahaha
It's called Let It Bleed, and it's the deepest darkest vampy red-brown jelly-creme I've ever seen. Super shiny. Massively shiny. Pictured is two coats, but my coats were a little thick. Next time I wear it, I will try three thinner coats to see how that turns out.
So there you have it :) My third foray into showing my lips on the blog. I will be doing this more often, as I think I might kind of like it! haha I just have to get a cool pose. I thought about smirking in my lipstick photos! :)
**DISCLAIMER**
I was not paid for this review by
anyone. I either purchased these polishes
myself or were given gifts as
friends because I could not find the
particular shade I wanted myself. I am not
a professional nail tech, nor do I
want to be. I'm just someone who
enjoys polishing my own nails :)

Fun post!!! And the lipstick is pretty. You have very nice fangs, btw.
ReplyDeletei would be great with fangs. fantastic! haha
DeleteLOL @ the vampire teeth. perhaps the 'real' vampires do not need lipstick, as their lips are already blood-stained ??
ReplyDeletethat is an excellent theory! all their lipstick would be blood red hahah
