The one with Wet n Wild Wild Shine lipsticks swatches and review!

Tomorrow I will give you guys my top 10 polishes of 2012. Tomorrow. I really wanted to do it today, but that post is gonna take a while to write, and I didn't wanna end up not posting today because I have a lot of stuff I havta do today! But I picked these two Wild Shine lipsticks up at CVS during the winter clearance sale, and they were 50% off. I haven't seen confirmation whether or not this means Wet n Wild is discontinuing this line of lipsticks or not...but it seems every CVS has a different thing in their display on sale. Some CVS stores have only eye shadow singles on sale, some have the mascara on sale, while some have all the lipsticks on sale! I'm not sure there is a consensus...

I'll start first with Rapture, a red-toned brown. As an aside, I LOVE the tubes these lipsticks come in. smooth and sleek, they are easily stores and don't take up a lot of space. The square body is super nice, too as they don't roll around when you lay them down on their side. This lipstick is so creamy. It literally glides right on. I have such excellent wear time with this.

The second one I picked up was Risque, a more purple-toned brown. It's much lighter and frostier than Rapture, actually, which translates to lighter on the lips. I'm usually not one much for making a statement, so this one adds a soft touch of color. Again, so creamy! These lipsticks rank amongst my favorites of the ones I own :)

I keep trying to come up with ways to pose my mouth so that you guys can see the lipstick better, and more full. Unfortunately, most the ways just end up looking silly... :) But what do you guys think about these lipsticks? Do you have some of these Wild Shines? You might check your local CVS stores and see if they are on clearance.

**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these products myself or were given gifts from friends . I am not a professional nail tech or make-up artist, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails and experimenting with make-up! :)

  1. I LOVE these lipsticks! They go on so creamy and like you said, they do last for a long time. Only thing is, it's hard to uncap it without nicking parts of the lipstick itself, as it sticks out even when twisted all the way down
