TGIF! But it is the end of Spring Break :( Lucas will have to go back to school next week. But he did have a fun week at home :) Today's polish is a franken I created one night by just tossing glitters in a bottle haha I used Glamour base to suspend, clear polish and Sally Girl glitters in blue, magenta and neon green.
It looks fabulous in this picture! I layered it over blue because it made the polish really stand out! The green glitter has since bled. Which is sad because that green glitter is awesome, and I wanted to try frankening with it in other ways - particularly in a black jelly base. I still might try it and use a different clear polish. Maybe with the black it won't be so bad?
BTW, this franken is in a franken contest. I stand no chance of winning, but if you'd like to vote, go here.
AND! I hit 1111 followers here on the blog. Yay! I do adore each and every one who actually reads my posts! The ones who take the time to comment are especially awesome! Maybe a small giveaway is in order? For those who really read my posts? Who thinks that could be a great idea!?

The one with LAColors Hot Blooded!
I LOVE this color! I love rich reds...and this L.A. Colors is the cream of the crop! I'm talking about Hot Blooded, a gorgeous jellyish creme that I picked up for $1 at Dollar Tree. If I ever find it again, I'm going to buy 3 or 4 more. It's that great of a color! The problem with me finding L.A. Colors , is each of the places I find them - Dollar Tree, Dollar General and Family Dollar - has a very different selection every time I go in there.
Beautiful. I love wearing this polish. I hope I can find more bottles one day! $1 is a steal for this gorgeous polish!
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these polishes myself or were given gifts as friends because I could not find the particular shade I wanted myself. I am not a professional nail tech, nor do I want to be. I'm just someone who enjoys polishing my own nails :)

The one with LAColors Static Electricity!
Happy day to all! (I know I always start out with a cheerful greeting, but I can tell ya I'm not always cheerful). Today's post is another L.A. Colors - this time a blue jelly called Static Electricity. For $1, L.A. Colors polishes are definitely well worth the money! I find them at The Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Dollar General. Actually, last time I was at Dollar General, they had a new display for polishes being put in. Maybe there will be awesome new shades added?
hehe You can see me taking the photo in my nails in the shade pic. This jelly is thicker, not so thin...sort of has the qualities of a creme. I do love layering things over these polishes. Like flakies!

The one with LAColors Atomic!
Good morning! Sorry I kind of disappeared for two days...we went on a mini vacation and I never got around to setting up some posts! I promise to get back on track! hahah But while we were away, I broke a nail on my left hand...like beyond repair. The nail was gone before I even realized it had broken. If I can't get it nursed back to health quickly, my right hand may make a few appearances here! Anyway on to the polish!
(BUT BUT BUT, check me out over at my friend's Allison's blog, I'm Definitely Addicted. I'm featured for Ugly Mani Monday!)
For today I have L.A. Colors Atomic, a lovely teal jelly. I got this for $1 at The Dollar Tree a while back.I have also found these polishes at Dollar General and Family Dollar.
Pretty huh? I really like the richness of this color. It is a jelly, but leans more to a creme, so the VNL wasn't so bad after two coats. Do you guys have another L.A. Colors polishes that you like? I will be featuring more this week :)

The one with Finger Paints Lemon Sour!
Good morning! It's the first day of Spring Break around our house :) A whole week with my son home! We have a bunch of fun stuff planned, so I'm excited! Today I have another of the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection! This is the final one in the collection - Lemon Sour - a muted yellow creme. And my least favorite.
For starters, the color is just not me. I don't think yellows look good on me unless they are brighter. This yellow was just too...tame...I guess, Too pale. Not vibrant enough. And the formula? Worst of the bunch. Thick and goopy. Streaking, even in its third coat (which is what's pictured). I just hope it looks evened out enough haha
It just looks...thick on the nail. I just don't like this bottle of polish - color and formula. What do you guys think? What about the collection overall? Do you have a favorite of the collection? I think mine, overall, considering everything, is Grape Gumball!
You can get Finger Paints polishes from Sally Beauty, either in-store or online. You can visit the Finger Paints website or the Finger Paints FB page.

The one with Finger Paints Choco Mint!
No Franken Friday today, I'm afraid - I'm still working my way through the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection! Today's polish is Choco Mint, a gorgeous airy minty green creme that is a pain and a half to apply! haha
I had to wear this sucker twice before I could get decent photos. It bubbled, it was goopy, it was thick. I tried some thinner, but it didn't help much. However, I was determined to wear this color, and wear it well. On my second wear, I chose very, very deliberate coats. Two coats. I love this color so much, but the formula is for the birds!
It's just a beautiful color! But everytime I look at it, I think of what a pain it was to apply. I'm pretty sure everytime I put it on, I will get a different result hahaha But with all its tempermentalness, it is really pretty :)

The one with Fail Art Thursday - Watermarble with the Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection!!
These polishes, all six polishes from the the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection, are EXTREMELY difficult to watermarble with. They dried a tad bit too fast on the water surface, and when I tried to use my toothpick to make designs, all the polish came up on the water surface. More than once. Except for once! haha I only got one finger watermarbled during the 45 minutes I tried. But that's ok, because the design on this one is actually good!
I actually got a decent design! First time ever I got a decent design at which I didn't groan! haha If I could have gotten any other decent designs, I would have featured them, too, but I couldn't get _any_ others! :) Would watermarbling in a smaller container help with drying time? I used a bigger bowl this time around.
You can get Finger Paints polishes from Sally Beauty, either in-store or online. You can visit the Finger Paints website or the Finger Paints FB page.

The one with Finger Paints Blue Raspberry Taffy!
Good morning! I have a beautiful blue for you today - Blue Raspberry Taffy from the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection. It's a beautiful bright sky-ish blue, and the formula on this one was great! Not streaky or clumpy.
It went on so smoothly, which is refreshing because the cremes in this collection have a bit of a problem. But this one was great going on! (Not so much coming off, but I'll get into that a little later)
It's just so pretty! I got lots of compliments when I wore it :) Now....in removal...I had some staining. Both on my nails and on my skin. However, it wasn't that bad. Maybe, two hand washes and it was gone. BUT if I was careful with where I placed the remover pad, it was better. Just be careful with removal, and you might not have a problem :)

The one with Finger Paints Pop Rock Pink!
OK, ok, ok. Just to clear the air, I'm not a pink person. I'm not really much of a pastel person. That being said, I do like a few pink polishes out there. This polish from the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection is one of them - Pop Rock Pink.
It's got the subtlest of shimmer, just like Grape Gumball. The pink, to me, is light and airy and not at all over the top. For some reason, the words coming to mind are "carnation pink." I used two thin coats that were pretty much effortless. The formula on this one was great. I had no issues with goopiness or streakiness.
Pretty huh? I like the way it looks so glossy in the flash photo. Like I said previously, I'm really not a pink person. But this is on the short list of pink polishes I actually like. What about you guys? Is there a color out there that you don't traditionally like, but you've found a polish you like wearing amongst that color?

The one with Finger Paints Grape Gumball!
Happy Monday! Well, not really...are Mondays ever really good? Bah! Oh well hehe I have another of the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection for you today :) This one is called Grape Gumball....and I love it! It's a gorgeous shade of grape-y purple packed with just the slightest hint of shimmer.
In. Love. It is gorgeous to wear, seriously. I got a lot of compliments when I wore this polish :) The formula is SO much thinner and easier to work with than the cremes in this collection. Pictured is two coats...and they just floated on the nail.
Love it! The subtle shimmer is just the right amount. Not too much, not too little! I wanna try some layering with this polish soon. Possibly some flakies! I was thinking Finger Paints Asylum might be totally pretty...

The one with Finger Paints Circus Peanuts!
Happy Sunday! How is everyone doing? I feel a lot better than I have all week, but I've still got some gunk creeping around. Wasn't going to stop me from bringing you the new Finger Paints Gumdrops and Lollipops collection! Today I have for you Circus Peanuts, a bright peach-y, coral-y orange! ...which by default makes it my favorite!
It is a tad on the pastel side for me, but still super pretty! The application was a little iffy. A tad on the thick side and a wee bit streaky. However, two coats made it smooth and happy. I could forsee this being a nice mess for me at various times. It's all in the application.
It's not the actual color of Circus Peanuts. It's definitely more peach than the candy. I'm loving this one :) hehe Just make sure you watch your application so that it doesn't get goopy and streaky. Like I said, I could totally see this polish giving me fits next time I try to wear it! Do you guys have a tempermental polish in your collection?
